"Gangsters and Goliaths"

Films: Attack the Block (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average gorillas.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Aliens can end up in the most unlikely of places. One might call it a trope that's been done to death, but it actually opens up all kinds of possibilities when they crash into where no man would suspect. And in this case, it happened to be in a place full of animosity and violence. Now, the gangs of the inner city are about to be given a real reason to fight...

History: A nomadic species of alien super predator, the first of these creatures to land on Earth was their queen. It crashed into South London where the impoverished lived, and was swiftly killed by the local gang. Unfortunately, it spread its pheromones all over them, and it wasn't long before the males showed up wondering where their queen went. Soon, the building everyone lives in becomes a bloodbath as every person there fights against an endless horde of monstrous aliens looking to tear them all to pieces.

Notable Kills: The ambush on the insane boss.

Final Fate: The gang's leader Moses leads all the aliens away from the others with the dead queen on his back and a plan to blow them all up with some assistance. He manages to escape just in time before the whole place explodes, taking all the aliens with it. After one of the survivors clears things up, he and his friends are hailed as heroes.

Powers/Abilities: Can take extreme amounts of damage.

Weakness: If you don't have any of the female's pheromones on you, you will not be targeted as often.

Scariness Factor: 4-Heaven help you if you somehow came into contact with the female alien. Once you do, they will find you, and they will KILL you. Just imagine an army of black furry shadows illuminated by rows upon rows of neon-green teeth, all of them emitting a truly haunting sound like an angry synthesizer. Now you have a good idea of what true fear looks like.

Trivia: -Only two alien suits were made, but they still managed to keep the usage of CGI to a minimum. Even the glowing teeth were a part of the costumes!

-This was the feature-film debut of John Boyega, who would later go on to become a truly renowned activist and the actor perhaps the most screwed over by the "Star Wars" sequel trilogy. Seriously, they promised his character would be the biggest star, those liars! And trust us, he's equally peeved.
